Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of propulsion system development and will be proficient with requirements management tools such as TRM and Xray. You will play a critical role in managing the lifecycle of engineering requirements to ensure clarity, traceability, and alignment with system and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Working with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, unambiguous requirements.

Requirements Documentation:
Creating and maintaining documentation for all requirements, including their specifications, constraints, and relationships.

Requirements Traceability:
Establishing and maintaining traceability links between requirements, design, development, and testing artifacts.

Requirements Management Tools (TRM/XRAY):
Using and configuring TRM/XRay or similar tools to manage requirements, including their lifecycle, version control, and reporting.

Change Management:
Managing changes to requirements, ensuring they are documented, tracked, and communicated effectively.

Collaboration:
Working with other engineers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned on requirements.

Requirements Verification and Validation:
Ensuring that requirements are met and that the product meets the needs of stakeholders.

Requirements Management:
A systematic approach to gathering, documenting, analysing, tracking, and controlling project requirements.

Requirements Traceability:
The ability to link requirements to other artifacts throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring consistency and enabling impact analysis.

TRM/XRAY:
A likely reference to a specific tool or software for managing requirements and potentially testing them.

Traceability Matrix:
A document that tracks the relationships between requirements and other artifacts, such as test cases or design documents.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
Technical Skills:
-
Proven expertise in requirements engineering, with a focus on propulsion systems or similar complex vehicle subsystems.

Strong experience with TRM (Teamcenter Requirements Management) and Xray (Jira plugin or equivalent).

Knowledge of requirements modelling, validation, verification, and change management.

Understanding of systems engineering principles, V-model, and traceability practices.

Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE) is a plus.
Experience:

3–7 years of experience in a requirement engineering or systems engineering role.

Background in automotive, aerospace, or high-tech engineering environments preferred.

Direct involvement in propulsion system or vehicle development projects.

Experience working cross-functionally with design, validation, and software teams.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
