As a 360 Recruitment Consultant specialising in permanent & contract recruitments within the automotive engineering sector, you will have a multifaceted role encompassing the full recruitment cycle. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and place qualified candidates in temporary/contract positions, while simultaneously building and maintaining relationships with clients and candidates. We are looking for a proactive and energetic candidate to help us with our recruitment process
Key Responsibilities:
• Candidate Sourcing: Utilise various channels, such as job boards, online platforms, networking events, partnerships, career fairs and referrals, to source and attract a pool of skilled candidates within Automotive engineering and from universities for permanent & contract roles.
• Candidate Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough interviews, skills assessments, and reference checks to evaluate candidates' technical expertise, experience, and suitability for the permanent or contract positions.
• Job Advertising and Marketing: Create compelling job descriptions and advertisements tailored to attract qualified candidates for permanent or contract roles in the Automotive engineering domain. Employ effective marketing strategies to promote open positions and our recruitment services.
• Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their temporary/contract staffing needs and project requirements. Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on candidate availability and progress, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Candidate Management: Manage the entire candidate experience, including initial contact, interview preparation, feedback, contract negotiations, and onboarding. Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout their permanent or contract assignments.
• Business Development: Proactively identify and engage new clients in the automotive engineering industry, promoting our temporary/contract recruitment services. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand the client base and generate new business opportunities.
• Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and changes in legislation affecting temporary/contract employment within engineering. Use this knowledge to advise clients on market conditions, rates, and best practices.
• Administrative Tasks: Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping of candidate and client interactions, contract details, timesheets, and other relevant information within our recruitment management system.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of our recruitment processes, tools, and strategies to improve efficiency and deliver outstanding service to clients and candidates.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
Essential:Text Settings
• Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate / MBA HR is preferred.
• A passion to build a strong knowledge of engineering design concepts, principles, and terminology.
• Familiarity with permanent & contract recruitment strategies, including candidate sourcing, engagement, and placement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships with candidates and clients.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-making processes.
• Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability & proactive approach to work with dead lines in effectively driving the recruitment process.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail, ensuring accurate candidate assessment and selection.
• Proficiency in using recruitment management software and other relevant tools.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
