Job Summary:
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Feature Strategy and Operational Intent (FSOI), is confident working with system requirements and test cases, and brings hands-on experience in supporting Human-Machine Interface (HMI) elements and leading design verification (DV) activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end delivery of new features within the Propulsion Electrical & Digital domain.

Define, document, and manage Feature Strategy & Operational Intent (FSOI) use cases.

Translate FSOI use cases into clear and traceable system requirements and test cases.

Drive alignment of feature intent across functional teams and stakeholders.

Develop or contribute to HMI logic and interfaces that support the feature's operation and user experience.

Lead or support the Design Verification (DV) planning, execution, and issue resolution.

Ensure timely sign-off of features in line with program milestones and quality targets.

Work with cross-functional teams including software, systems, validation, and HMI design.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
Technical Skills:
-
Strong understanding of feature development processes within automotive or propulsion system contexts.

Hands-on experience with FSOI documentation, requirements engineering, and test case creation.

Experience with HMI specification and development, particularly related to feature-user interaction.

Familiarity with design verification (DV) planning, tracking, and execution for feature sign-off.

Knowledge of systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, JIRA, Vector tools) is desirable.
Experience:

3+ years of experience as a Feature Engineer or Systems Engineer, ideally in a PED or propulsion systems environment.

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex features from concept through validation.
Soft Skills:

Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Highly organized, with the ability to manage feature delivery timelines and technical dependencies.

Critical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
