The Regulation Triage - Lead Engineer plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the Regulations Department and Engineering Teams. This role ensures that new and evolving regulatory requirements are accurately interpreted, categorized, and cascaded to the appropriate engineering stakeholders, enabling timely and compliant product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read, interpret each regulation and understand the technical implications of each requirement in the context of vehicle systems and engineering domains.

• Categorize each requirement against relevant engineering functions and stakeholders.

• Liaise with engineering teams to ensure clear understanding and ownership of each cascaded requirement

• Identify and assign suitable owners for requirements where ownership is unclear.

• Spearhead the triage and dissemination of new regulatory changes.

• Ensure all impacted engineering teams are informed and facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve ambiguities and drive alignment.

• Provide regular updates to leadership on triage status, risks, and compliance gaps.

• Support audits and reviews with clear documentation of requirement flow and ownership.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

​

Essential:​

• Experience in global automotive regulations

• Experience in regulatory compliance, systems engineering, or product development.

• Solid understanding of automotive engineering domains and systems & modern powertrain.

 

Desirable:

• Presentation and Communication skills.

• Experience working in Requirement management (TRM/Doors/RMDV)

Education:

• Degree or equivalent education in Automotive/mechanical or relevant disciplines.
